Join the Columbus Park 2018 Bioblitz! Bring your sense of curiosity and a smartphone (or other camera). You do not need to be an expert. The goal is to record as many living organisms as possible in a limited timeframe. Bioblitzes are a wonderful citizen science opportunity because your records/observations will be used by scientists.

To get the most out of the Bioblitz, we recommend installing the iNaturalist App and practice using it before the event. Here is a short video demonstrating use of the app: https://vimeo.com/162581545. Having the app on your smartphone makes taking pictures and recording data extremely simple. If you have a Macro lens for your smartphone, that's helpful for smaller organisms.
