Homeowner Jeff Spaulding prioritized energy efficiency in his retrofit of a Lincoln Square solid masonry 2 flat. The all-electric home was renovated to include ducted heat pump heating and cooling, induction ranges, heat pump range /hot water, and ENERGY STAR® appliances.
The result — a high performing and healthy home that saves on the energy bill and reduces overall environmental impact.
Architect Tom Bassett-Dilley is in the middle of a renovation on his own home to achieve an all-electric, net zero home. Tom will share his top projects and how he prioritized projects over the renovation period.
The program will also include a breakdown of ComEd Rebates and the new ComEd All-Electric Pilot.
