From Oak Park Public Library:

Representatives from Citizens Utility Board (CUB) will be available to advise residents on reducing electric, gas, and both landline and cell phone bills. Each participant will speak one-on-one with a CUB counselor to review their bills, so be sure to bring your bill(s) with you. 

Come ready to learn how to:

• spot unnecessary charges on natural gas, electric, and phone bills

• become familiar with energy efficiency programs and rebates that can help lower your utility bills

• decode your gas and electric bill, spotting errors, and avoiding scams
