What's more exciting than attending the Midwest's premier environmental film festival? That's easy: helping to plan and run it. The 2014 One Earth Film Festival (OEFF2014) drew almost 2,500 viewers and expanded to more Chicagoland venues. We need many talented and passionate volunteers to grow the festival and its impact in 2015.
Work alongside a group of passionate, focused and energized volunteers to produce a change-making slate of film programs that will not only educate on critical sustainability issues, but also inspire attendees toward concrete action.
We are building the OEFF2015 planning team, which includes volunteer positions on all sub-teams:
Film selection & film program development
Marketing & promotion (includes website, advertising and social media)
Fundraising (includes sponsorships, grants, crowd funding and events)
Venues and site logistics (includes sub-teams to handle AV/Tech, special events and catering)
Event volunteers
Young Filmmakers Contest

desire to HAVE FUN!
Work is starting now! Please contact Ana Garcia Doyle at ana@greencommunityconnections.org to get involved immediately. You'll also be invited to an all-planning-team kickoff (a way for all sub-teams to connect, enjoy, meet and share progress updates) on Monday, October 27, 7:00-8:30pm, location TBD.
